Diploma Courses in TRAVEL & TOURISM
Tourism industry careers attract many students because they provide an opportunity to travel and meet people around the world. Some careers, such as a travel agent, focus on preparing for travel and some, such as tour managers involve working with the public during travel.
Travel & Tourism Industry has a variety of sectors that include Retail Travel, Wholesale Travel, Tour Operators, Transportation, Events and Services. Each sector has a range of job roles and incredible amount of opportunities.
The Travel Agent sector provides travel information and makes travel arrangements for all modes of transportation accommodation and tours. A recent Google survey showed that whilst many travelers will research their travel arrangements online, 65% of travel is booked with a travel agent meaning that an exciting career path is available to you here.
Some Tour Operators package their own products and some specialize in certain areas like wildlife, culture, sports or adventure tours. This can be an exciting career path – be it on the road showing travelers the hot spots, or creating the tours that customers will love. For many this can be an exciting sector to explore whilst exploring the world yourself!
